BRIK Chocolate Easter Æg Collection: BRIK Æg Box and Flat Ægs

S&Co supported the launch of BRIK Chocolate’s Easter Æg collection with media coverage gained in leading titles, such as: Stylist, London On The Inside, Luxuriate and Wallpaper*. A social competition was also launched with Great British Chefs for Easter, receiving over 3,200 comments, and BRIK’s instagram following grew by 1,439 during the competition period.

Chinatown London, #ChinatownConnections

A successful launch of the #ChinatownConnections campaign to celebrate the Year of the Tiger with increased awareness of Chinatown’s offering and highlighting stories and activities. 43 pieces of coverage were secured with a total circulation of 577,559,272, 11 media tours, filming for top domestic and international television networks and a paid-for media partnership with Great British Chefs. S&Co launched campaign creatives and animations on social media, with red packet giveaways, influencer partnerships, face filters and stickers and grew the TikTok following to 16k.

Ellen Chew, Malaysian Restaurateur

Ellen Chew is a leading restaurateur in the UK, founding the Chew On This collection of restaurants in 2008 to show the UK the wonders of East and South East Asian cooking. Since Sept ‘21, S&Co have been tasked to build Ellen’s presence in the media, thus far announcing the opening of Mrs Chew’s Chinese Kitchen in Westfield White City & Bicester Village, the re-launch of Rasa Sayang in Chinatown and putting Ellen forward for profile opportunities. Example titles Ellen has featured in include: The Caterer, Londonist, Brummell and Luxury Lifestyle Magazine.

Tate Eats, Beer Collaborations

Following a brief hiatus, Tate Eats is back with a bang this year with a series of epic beer collaborations and tap takeover events. In October, Tate Eats hosted a Tap Takeover in collaboration with Toast Ale to mark COP26. In November, Tate Eats hosted a Tap Takeover in collaboration with Drop Project to celebrate a Kusama-inspired beer and launched an exclusive collaboration with Anspach & Hobday for the Hogarth exhibition at Tate Britain. S&Co gained exposure for these in titles, such as Morning Advertiser, Londonist, Beer Today and The British Guild of Beer Writers.

Chinatown London, #OurChinatown

In light of ESEA Heritage Month, in Sept ‘21 Chinatown London launched the #OurChinatown campaign to explore what Chinatown means to each and every one of us. As part of this, we hosted a podcast special with Chinese Chippy Girl, launched a hidden QR code trail in the area to give people a chance to explore the amazing food and drink in the area, and we launched the Chinatown London TikTok, which in its first month accumulated a following of 491 people, with one of the videos gaining 8650 views.

La Nonna, Brixton Launch

In ‘21 Roman pasta specialists La Nonna made the leap from street food experts to opening a neighbourhood Italian restaurant in the heart of Brixton. La Nonna’s new restaurant is all about serving up Roman fresh pasta dishes and Italian small plates in an intimate, relaxed open kitchen environment. Since opening in Sept ‘21, S&Co has invited over 20 top journalists and Influencers to dine at the newly opened restaurant, plus receiving stellar reviews in titles, such as Design My Night, London on the Inside, House & Garden, Hello! and South London Press.

be-oom, Korean Tea House

Founded by Sooji Im, be-oom is the first brand in Europe to specialise in Korean tea. Along with her Exmouth Market tea house, garden and shop, Sooji also sells tea from family-owned tea farms across Korea. S&Co helped Sooji raise awareness of her profile and brand, gaining coverage in Elle Decoration, Courier Magazine, Vogue, FT How To Spend It, Mother Tongue TV and Fine Food Digest.

Chinatown London, #ChinatownBlooms

Chinatown London launched #ChinatownBlooms in June 2021. A floating Botanical Garden installation filled the sky on Gerrard Street showcasing 7 different species of ESEA flowers. To coincide with the flowers, select Chinatown restaurants created a variety of “botanical garden” dishes – highlighting the role of flowers in ESEA cooking. The initiative aimed to safely drive footfall to the area whilst creating a buzz with Influencers and the general public.

OSEYO, Korean Supermarket

In 2021, S&Co assisted Korean supermarket Oseyo in creating content for their social media and online channels. S&Co worked with respected partners who would appeal to British audiences to raise awareness of Korean foods and Oseyo. Over the campaign, S&Co worked with 6 influencers with a following of 878,900 followers, and created 204 inspiring lifestyle images, 23 videos and reached 60,000 people through social media advertising.

Bubblewrap, PEANUTS™ Collaboration

Throughout the summer of 2021, S&Co supported Bubblewrap London in promoting their collaboration with iconic American comic strip PEANUTS™. With an Instagram-worthy dessert offering an exclusive Bubblewrap Waffle flavour, plus merchandise celebrating the Peanuts characters, S&Co focused the initial launch outreach around influencers to produce user-generated content to drive footfall and create a buzz. This was supported by in-house social media copywriting for their social channels and photography by the digital team.
